What began as a fun idea: “playing soccer on the beautiful grass of Governors Island” has grown to become NYCs most in-demand soccer tournament.
The annual event has grown to welcome 100 teams, 1,000 players and loads of spectators* over two days in May.
*Spectators are welcome to enjoy the action for free—just be aware that by attending, you assume all risks (including the occasional flying soccer ball)!

7v7 Coed (2 Female Min)
5 Games (20 Minutes) + Playoffs
5 Skill Divisions (Beg thru Adv)
Accepting Full Teams and Individuals
Register a Full Team
Teams from all over register and may select either Saturday or Sunday, pending availability.
If your preferred spot sells out before you register, your spot will be held on the alternative day.
Up to 11 roster players

Due to the demand of the Governors Cup, which usually fills up very quickly with full teams, we reserve only a few teams worth of free agents.
You may register as an individual or with friends, and space permitting, at your desired skill division (P1-P5).
